Wayman Tisdale Humanitarian Award

Regina Tisdale will present the Wayman Tisdale Humanitarian Award. The award will be presented to a musical performer, who continually and unselfishly strives to bring a better quality of life to mankind.

Wayman Tisdale, a beloved bass guitarist, and Basketball Hall of Fame recipient, lost his battle to cancer in May 2009.

David Benoit: Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient

David Benoit has been selected as the first American Smooth Jazz Awards Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.  The award will be named in his honor, and in the future, be awarded as the David Benoit Lifetime Achievement Award.
